Everyone has a part to play in the fight against the spread of dengue.
Let’s see what the Town Council has been doing and what you can do to help too!
What the Town Council is doing
AHTC’s pest control contractors have been carrying out the following works regularly in our Town to stop mosquito breeding.
Misting at common areas
- Conducted at least once a week, with priority given to dengue clusters. Frequency will increase when required.
Checks for potential breeding sites and Oiling in drains
- Conducted on a daily basis.
- From time to time, additional joint operations with NEA will be conducted to check for potential breeding sites.
Residual Spray of insecticide at common areas
- Conducted at least once a week. Frequency will increase when required.
What Residents can do to help
Residents are advised to practice the 5-Step Mozzie Wipeout in their homes.
