What the Town Council Does

AHTC’s pest control contractors carries out quarterly fogging in our Town to control pests such as cockroaches. Residents will be informed of the schedule in advance.

  • During fogging, some cockroaches may escape from the bin chutes and manholes. Please do not be alarmed.
  • To prevent cockroaches from escaping into your homes, please close your windows and seal your bin hopper door.
  • The chemical used in fogging may take some time to take effect as some pests are more resistant to them.

What Residents Can Do to Help

  • Tie up your household rubbish and food waste in proper disposable bags before throwing them into the rubbish chute.
  • Do not leave food lying around the common areas.
  • Do not feed birds.
  • Do not leave food offerings from religious activities at common areas unattended.
